The selection of music available today is so vast that one could spend every second of an entire lifetime listening to something different and still not hear everything.  With this near-infinite selection comes the problem of classification.  One school of thought has a list of categories and sub-categories longer than a line of ten-year-old girls waiting in line to see Britney Spears, while another has simplified this ordeal, having only two categories: worthwhile music and shit.

Brent Wiggins and Rusty Holloway, two musicians who played just for the sake of playing, jammed with countless musicians for more than three years before finding a drummer who was the perfect fit they had sought.  When Scott Sabelhaus came on board, Manditory was truly born.

After months of practicing, the threesome took their music to the stage, rocking Deep Ellum in a manner reminiscent of the boot given to the face of glam and other lame styles of music in the '80's by bands such as Guns N' Roses and Metallica.  It was at one such show that Aaron McKinney told Manditory their [fill-in] bass player sucked, piquing the band's curiosity as to whether or not he could do better.  McKinney's boldness, matched only by his ability, earned him a permanent spot on the stage with Wiggins, Holloway and Sabelhaus.

Now a strong foursome that seeks only respect, Manditory plays with a vengeance towards trendy music.  Currently appearing at venues including The Galaxy Club and Trees , the band's presence is ever-increasing on the Dallas music scene.
